Privacy Policy

Nuvens Grampeadas Ltda, CNPJ 66.465.087/0001-80, based in Brazil ("we", "us", "our"), operates the TalkyZoo app. We take children's privacy seriously and follow Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Law No. 13,709/2018) and the Apple App Store and Google Play policies for children's apps.

1. Who Can Use This App

TalkyZoo is designed for children aged 4 to 7 and should be set up by a parent or legal guardian.

2. We Do Not Collect Personal Data

TalkyZoo does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There is no account or sign-up, and we do not ask for an email address, age, location, photos, contacts, advertising identifiers or any other personal information.

The app does use one technical service, Unity Gaming Services (Unity Technologies), which processes in-app purchases. To do this, Unity creates a random installation identifier and receives basic technical information such as device model, operating system version and app version. This identifier is not linked to a name, email or account, is not the advertising ID, and is not used for advertising or profiling.

3. Data That Stays on the Device

To work, the app saves some information locally, on the device only:

the names or nicknames entered for child profiles
learning progress (words practised, activities completed, stars, coins, trophies and streaks)
settings chosen in the Parents' Area, such as the screen time limit
karaoke recordings and drawings that the child chooses to save

This information never leaves the device and is never sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot access, see or recover it.

4. Voice and Microphone

TalkyZoo uses the microphone so children can practise pronunciation and sing along in karaoke. Speech recognition runs entirely on the device, using a model based on OpenAI's Whisper technology that is built into the app. The audio is never sent to OpenAI, to us or to any server. The app works without an internet connection.

5. Purchases

Subscriptions and the Lifetime plan are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your name, email or payment details. The app only checks with the store whether a purchase is active.

Purchase validation is handled through Unity In-App Purchasing, which uses the installation identifier described in Section 2 to confirm that a purchase is active and to restore it.

6. No Ads, No Sharing

There is no advertising and no third-party tracking for advertising purposes. We do not sell or share data. Unity Technologies acts only as a service provider processing the installation identifier on our behalf for purchases and technical diagnostics. 7. Deleting Data

All saved information can be deleted at any time in the Parents' Area or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling removes everything saved on the device permanently.

Uninstalling the app resets the installation identifier. Parents may also request deletion of any data held by our service providers at privacy@talkyzoo.com.

8. Our Website Forms

This policy covers the TalkyZoo app. Our website (talkyzoo.com) has optional contact forms for support, schools and user research. If you choose to fill one in, we receive only the information you type (such as your name, email and message) and use it solely to reply to you or, for research, to invite you to studies you signed up for. This data is never linked to the app, never used for advertising and never sold or shared. You can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to privacy@talkyzoo.com.

9. Your Rights

Parents and legal guardians keep all their rights under the LGPD, including the right to contact Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD). If you have any questions about privacy, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and announce the change in the app before it takes effect.
